How is the performance of LT80 and Breeze 125 at the dunes?

I wouldn't think reliability is a issue with either.
I cannot imagine the breeze with it's 4 stroke motor be a very good dune machine.
When I was there (4 times) I seen many-many Lt80's having fun.

My son rides a stock LT80 and a friend I ride with has both the stock Breeze and a piped LT80. They are all three reliable. They all hold their own out on the dunes with the Breeze being the faster of all three. I thought the Breeze would be a dog when he got it, but his seems to get around fine. It's not as snappy on take off, but it gets around as good or better than the LTs.

I think they would handle the flat areas.
For hills, you'd probably need mods and paddles. My kids was a nightmare until I modded it. But I've seen 250ex's, trailblazers and a trails bosses struggle getting around at our dunes. (And a Yerf Dog kart! lol! What was he thinking?!?)

Fishslab, we're booked into Honeyman from March 20-28. We return home at the start of the easter weekend ( I assume that would be a busy, goon show weekend). Let me know if we can meet up this time.

I have a 125 breeze and it moves around good in the dunes at Pismo. For years the Breeze was a staple for the rental companies on the beach. The Breeze is simple to operate, automatic with frwd-N-rev, that's it. Performance and mobility will depend alot on the size of the rider, power to weight ratio. I have a raptor 80 also. It moves around pretty good in the dunes. The Breeze will out climb it, mostly because the breeze is larger 125cc. A breeze isn't high performance, but for an entry level rider it can be alot of fun.
