How is the performance of LT80 and Breeze 125 at the dunes?

My daughter has a breeze and I can not believe how fast it is. Not super quick but very fast. I'm embarrased to admit that I really like to ride that quad!!!! I don't know how it would do in the sand but it is fine on dirt and hills!!!!

My 9 year old daughter has an LT80 and with hauler paddles on the rear, both speed restrictors taken out and at full throttle has no problem at the dunes. She's a big girl and has no problems keeping up with mom. In fact, mom was on the verge of a few heart attacks watching her take a few hills and bowls. Made me proud! On the steep stuff she did have problems, but my 300 also had some issues as well. On the flats and small to medium small dunes there was no problem. Kids shouldn't be on the larger dunes anyways -- too many wanton buggies.
Whatever model you choose make sure you put paddles on it. We were riding with a 4 year old cousin (who now has her old Suzuki 50) and he had some minor problems. His bike did not have paddles on it and he would get stuck on some of the steeper hills. As long as the dune's slope was gradual he could go up no problem.

My kids each dune their LT 80s carly runs 18x8.5-8 5 paddle exciters(hauler/glider style but for stock minis) Cody has a modified LT 80 and runs 18x9.5-8 6 paddle gliders and putting them on the lightest aluminum wheel possible does wonders. My kids climb almost everything at sandlake, accept the tree shots. The bottom end grunt of the lt 80 makes it better than most minis for the dunes, but the breeze and lt 80 are in different catogries so they reall be compared.
