i no raptors dont have much power compared to the ds but does the ds lift up easier than a raptor

 

The Raptors have good power and will lift up alot easier than a DS. But the new 04-05 DS's with the shorter swingarm lift up pretty easy.

 

My 04 wheelies ok on sand with nobbies but you need to thump your wieght down on the rear to get grip, with paddles or on grass dirt ect it will come up on a whim and takes a bit of keeping down at times.

Raptors to narrow for my taste and lacks the stability of the DS but other than that are good bikes as long as you stay away from the early ones with trans problems.

Raptor has reverse though, if you need it.

 

Even the DS's prior to 04 will wheelie well, actually there is more of an art to it w/ the longer swingarm........or should I say takes more kahuna's!
This is the most comfortable quad I have ever ridden, and they put some serious power to the ground!
