Scans for the Valve Check from the shop manual? Valve tick.
#1
Looking to do a valve check, wondering if anyone has the scans.
I have 2003 with 45 hours and 200 miles currently, when I turn the idle down low I get a tick, is that the valves or somthing else?
Thanks!

45 hours and 200 miles?? You like idling for months at a time Plainsman? That averages out to about 4 miles per hour. You scared of that big V-twin big guy??!? HAHA!! Sounds to me like it needs a valve adjustment. Not really much to it but a service manual is the ticket. I know you were looking for one in pdf but I have no clue where to find one. If my scanner works right, I could probably scan the valve adjust section and email it to you. My manual is for a 2002 but it should be the same shouldn't it?

So if you turn the idle way down and you hear a tick then its in need, arg.
I take its not too terribly bad to do the adjustment?
Thanks Master.

However, I called the local AcrticCat dealer (same engine) they said all those 650s tick too if you turn the idle down too far. So at this point I think Im not going to screw with it.
According to MasterBlaster I need to get some more miles on it
