Default Polaris rubber spring spacers SUCK!!!!!!

I bought two sets of the polaris rubber coil spring spacers which are used to level the front end out with a plow attached. I measured the front end from the pavement to the bottom of my winch bracket with the plow down and it was 26 3/4". I raised the plow and the front end dropped to 25 3/4". I installed two rubber spacers to each of the front coil springs then lifted the plow up and the measurement was the same 25 3/4" that it was without the spacers. the spacers did absolutly nothing for the front end drop with the plow lifted so I am going to return the spring spacers and get my $34.00 back so I can put it towards a lift from Bert's Dirt Works.

They work better than that on my 2005 springs....Part of their use is the 'compression' of the springs, not just sag...

Where did you place them on the spring? If you placed them in the middle they are useless..take the weight off the front and screw up to the very top..you'll notice a HUGE difference!

You could have bought heavy duty springs for 34 bucks.

I bought a set for my 500. Put one on each side. Didn't really need them, I didn't find any excessive sag with my plow but figured I'd try them since I had them anyway. Now my front sits high enough that when I drop my glacier plow I now have to put a 2" piece of wood under the plow frame to hook it back up. But when I lift the plow it sags almost the same amount as without them. And how come you payed so much for them? My Polaris dealer sells them for $23.00 Canadian.

primus I bought two sets which is four spacers.

I put the spacers in the center of the spring which is where the instructions tell you to put them. I am going to order the 1.5 inch lift from Bert's and be done with it. another thing I noticed with the spacers from just the short period of time that the quad was running was that the spacers vibrate and move around inside the springs. they vibrated down the spring in just a short period of time. I am getting the 27" Mudlites with the ITP type 6 wheels and was sort of hoping the spacers would help with any rubbing problems but I guess not. I am just going to order the lift from Bert's an be done with it. Moosehunter uses these lifts and said they work great without any rubbing. I spent $34 on two sets of the rubber spacers and the 1.5' lift is only $60 so I suppose it's not much of a big difference huh.

When I had my spacer's I picked my front end up untill the springs were fully extended. Then I put the spacer up as far as I could get them, then as low as I could get them and this helped with the sag.

Try putting scrambler heavy duty springs with scrambler struts on. you gain 1 1/2 inches in travel along with a way better ride. Iv'e been doing this mod for years and it has worked so well that my dealer even started doing it for plowing applications. You just have to make sure you order the hvy duty scram. springs.
I did this to two of my 500s and am running it on my 700 now with fox struts, They're just a little pricey
compared to polaris ones. I got really tired of the soft frnt. end esp. when plowing, Along with gritting my teeth when i'd hit something a little too hard. First and best mod I ever do to my pol. all of them!!
Most lifts I see do nothing but raise your stock springs without gaining any travel, Nonsense!!

I am going to call BertsDirtWorks and order either the 1.5" or 2" front only lift made out of cnc aluminum this way I get a lift that won't disinagrate and will be there forever. this will definitly make sure my new 27's fit when I get them and help with the front end sag when I use my plow.

I have a two inch lift on my 570 and it still sagged, had to put taller stiffer springs on to stop the sag.
