Spacers 101

Spacers 101
First I know that there are alot of threads about spacers, so I want to apologize in advance for this simple question. I have a 2005 Sportsman 400 with the Glacier plow system. I don't want to make any major mods to my ATV, but would like to eliminate some of the sag of the front end when raising the plow. The only question that I have is will the rubber spacers from Polaris (or another manufacturer) help? I read some good, some bad. I also don't want to change the handling of the ATV when not plowing. I'm looking for a real simple solution, ie, easy to install. If the rubber spacers won't help, then I will live with the sag. If they do work should I also put them on the rear springs? I have the same problem when pulling a loaded trailer.
Thanks,

You’re right about the “some good, some bad.” Some seem to think they work and others don’t. I put two of these spacers on each front spring of my last Ranger for plowing and it seemed to help. You can stack as many on there as the spring will fit.
If your priorities are “cheap and easy” then go ahead and try them, or make your own out of hockey pucks as some others have. Other than Spam wordSpam word Spam wordSpam word Spam wordSpam word Spam wordSpam word Spam wordSpam word Spam wordSpam word in the fuel these are the cheapest, easiest things you can add to keep your front end up. If you don’t like ‘em on there for trail riding just remove them in the summer.
