Little prob with outy
#1
Well, my outlander has been have some problems. When i go out for a ride it tends to die when i get of the gas. Im not sure whats going on here, the last two times ive been out it just stops running, it starts right back up, but unless i give it gas itll just die agian. Also, ive been haveing trouble with the starting in gear, it seems when ever it gets ridden for a while(2-4 hours) it will stop starting in gear. I have a warranty on it still, but i dont really think the husband and wife duo up at the dealership are going to be that great of help, so if any one has any ideas on whats wrong please help.

Go to ATV Frontier and the Bomb section they have posts about your problems. I know the brake light switch can get stuck in the off position; they cost $10 and screw in by the rear brake master cylinder. Stalling while idling usually means your carb got dirty thru your airbox breather, the 05's now have a filter over the breather opening. Your dealer should cover it under warranty.
