How is everyone out there carrying extra fuel for their ATV. I was thinking of buying a fuel pak (a red plastic thing that mounts on the front rack, only 2 or so inchs high, think it is 3 gallons or so). Or the other idea was buy a small boat gas tank and mount it (small and mostly flat) and maybe run a second line to the carb so I wont have to remove it to use the fuel? Any ideas or thoughts? Thanks

There is a comppany that makes a reserve tank that gets mounted on the back rack and has it's own fuel line and switch. Although I don't know the name.

Greetings,

I've seen a rack that hangs over the back of the quad that holds a traditional 5-gallon jeep can. Check Northern, Cabelas, or some of the vendors on this site.

On the lighter side, you can put a 1-gallon plastic gas can (the squat/square design) in the rear storage compartment of the 450ES (maybe others too). Best to wrap it in a plastic bag to deter any leekage that might seep onto hot parts.

Check out IMS. They make fuel tanks. I don't know if they make one for your ride, but I have one. www.imsplastics.com
Maybe it'll help.
