Just did a dyno of the 05 Baja X for a review. Stock vs turbo. Stock was 35 hp with 31lbs torque. Read it in the June issue of dirtwheels. FYI

Depends on whose Dyno your using...Not all Dynos are the same...Then there is elevation and weather conditions to consider...

With KMS Performance's Dyno, my stock bike was about 31 HP and 60 HP on Turbo at 5lbs of boost.

A Dyno run is just a baseline for adjusting and tuning. They are not the holy grail of performance standards. I have taken bikes to 3 different places all within the same day to do dyno run comparisons and not one read the same. They all had about a 3-5 HP spread.

The operator, time of day, humidity and elevation among other factors all play an important part in the final evaluation of your engines performance. Use the Dyno to establish a baseline and then adjust the tuning by actual runs in the conditions you normally ride. This is where you will get your best results....

My sled was at 32hp on a very stingy (but probably accurate) dyno completely stock. I was at 47hp with the complete stage two and before the nitrous. I'm going to assume that I'm somewhere in the 75hp range on the juice.

That says alot for BIGBAJA's new 800kit. If the dyno is accurate and not a typical trinity-type dyno (+10 just about all the time from what I've experience and heard), that 800 is running real hard!!!!!
