since trading the grizz in for the sp500 ho is out of the question, I will just have to out perform him, how large a tire can i fit before lifting it, and whats the verdict on all around performance? Must be good in mud but do alot of dirt trail riding. thanks guys

I have seen 27" on a stock grizz with no rubbing.
Unlike the Hondas, Kawis, and Suzis the Grizz has large fenders with lots of clearance. I would think that 28" would even clear. For a good all around tire that is also excelent in mud i would deffinatly choose the Maxis Mud bugs. They are really light for their size and perform well.

Well Grizzjeeper,
I have 27x10x12 Bear Claws on the front and 27x12x12 Bear Claws on the rear of my Grizzly. All on ITP rims. I do alot of trail riding and some mud riding. These tires have done a great job on both surfaces.
