Just picked up a used LT80 That had set up for a while so i pulled the carb and sure enough It was good and gunky so i washed it out good with carb cleaner making sure all the jets were clean ,Then washed out the air filter and let it dry good put it all back together now it will only idle with the choke on . I looked for air leaks to see if it was sucking air cant find none so any ideas? thanks James

 

Found it the o ring on the spacer between the carb and reeds was bad and it was sucking air at that spot
