I am in need of some new tires for my Rancher 4x4 but I am confused about sizing. I don't have any extra money for rims right now so the tires will have to go on the stock rims. What size tires will fit on the rims? Being a motorcycle rider, and fairly new to changing ATV tires, I don't quite understand how the tire/wheel sizes match up. I would like some 589's but I am not sure if they will fit the stock rims. I would appriciate it if the group can inform me on my options. Thanks so much!

Don't know about 589's. But you can put Good Year Mud Runners on your stock rims, thats what I am looking to do.

Stock Tires
Front 24x8x12
Rear 24x9x11

Mud Runners
Front 25x8x12 $62/each
Rear 25x10x11 $65/each

You can get 4 tire for $265 + shipping + handling. Thats pretty good.

The first number is the diameter of the tire, the second number is the width of the tire, and the last number is the rim size.

The best prices on mud runners is the www.treaddepot.com, they had better prices than highlifter.

Good luck
