I am going to buy a Raptor. I wanted to get my wife involved in the sport. Which machine would be a better choice? Thanks. (mostly woods riding)

If she already knows how to use a manual clutch ATV then a Warrior would be better. If she doesn't then I would recommend a Polaris Trail Blazer or some other automatic atv in the 200-400 range.

Why not take a look at the new 250ex? It uses the more friendly auto-clutch does'nt it?

Of the two quads you asked about, I'd have to opt for the Honda for a few reasons, assuming that your wife isn't an unusually big gal; one is the smaller physical size of the Honda. Also the lighter weight. The shorter wheel base would make it much easier for a novice to navigate in tight woods sections. The 5 speed rather than a 6 spd, tranny would simplify her choices in the woods & would be entirely adequate there.
I live & ride a Warrior in the Nat Forests & have no trouble with tight woods, but then I'm possibly taller & heavier than your wife with a few years experience doing so.

She has already riden a Blaster. Then she rode my friends 500 Quadzilla and like the feel of the larger machine much better. Is there any advantage in looking at a utility quad for her? She likes using the manual shifter. and no she is not a big gal. thanks for help.
