I am in need of a winch mount for the Recon. I know its a small quad but I figure a 1500lbs Superwinch would be great for when me or my son get stuck. I found a Superwinch for $120 at a farm supply store but can't seem to find out how to go about mounting it.

 

I used a flat piece of 3/16" plate and (4) 3/4" U bolts. mount the plate to the frame under the front hood to the two (3/4" pipe) frame members with u bolts set the wench on plate mark location, remove plate drill & mount winch to plate then remount plate and add roller fairlead.
