Arctic Cat 300 4x4 vs Honda 300 4x4
#1
Wanting to know if anyone can relate these two bikes. i currently own a 1992 Honda 300 4x4 and am looking into a AC 300 4x4. Speed? Hill Climbing? Mudding? Maitenance? Arctic cat Service? Also for people in Canada how does $154 a month including tax for 60 months sound for a 2001 AC 300 4x4? Please help out? Thanks

My friend has an AC 300 4X2 and I ride it often. I love the independant rear suspension. He has never changed the oil before and he beats the crap out of it but she never skips a beat. The balance is awsome. You can't jump very high but it always lands level and has a very plush suspension. The arctic cat is my favorite 300. It is the only quad with double wishbone suspension all-around and I was very impressed with it.

You can never go wrong with a Honda 300. The AC looks ok too, though I never was fond of the long driveshaft to the front. I like the double wishbone rear better than the setup on the King Quad.
Basically, I think the AC 300 is setup to fit larger riders better than a Honda 300 is. The honda fits smaller riders better. The frame setup on the AC is larger and has a taller seat height. A tall rider won't feel as cramped on it. I doubt there is much of a power difference between the two. I would almost bet that the AC rides better. Seems like it would have a lot of weight in the rear though.
