my buddy called me last nite and said his brother inlaw said there is a recall on the the 700 something about
a vent tube in the crank case leaking moister? i have a 600 i was just wondering if you guys/gals heard
anything about this? and if its going to affect the 600 as well.

they are referring to a service bulletin on the 600 & 700. its for the vent tube that comes off the top of the valve cover and runs to the air box. if it has a white filter in line it should be changed. i guess they had a problem with water build up in it and freezing in cold weather running.

 

oh yeah, just for info. this applied to all 02 -03 600 & 700, and some early 04's.
