3 party wheel bearings
#1
Sorry for the repeated post but may be helpful to other also. I have been going through all the post here and I have seen several that say they have found wheel bearings at bearing store. If they are still looking at these post please try to find the part number you used or if anyone knows of a store that sells online let us know. I have tried to match the bearings at stores here in MA. and all they say is that it's not a auto bearing and they don't have any matches for that kind of bearing. 40 $ per bearing / seals is high. Many AC user can use this info.

First off a bearing store is not an auto parts store, Car parts guys are morons anymore. A true bearing store will never look at you and say "It's not an auto bearing.". Look in the yellow pages under "bearings". Here in the NW we have "Bearings Inc". Take the old bearing and seal in and they can and will match it up if nothing else by measuring it and looking up soecs. When I was racing boats the lower gearcases need to be rebuilt every year. The local Mercury dealer wanted $300 for all the bearings and seals. Bearings Inc. got me everything for less than $100. Were the bearings any good? Won 2 National Championships and set 3 world records use the cheaper bearings.
