After riding Polaris 4x4's for 10 years, I thought the Rubicon full-time 4x4 steered very heavy by comparison. I aired up the front tires from the recommended 3.6 lbs/in^2 to 7.0 lbs/in^2 which has reduced the effort by half at slow speeds. There are trade-offs, but I feel it is worth it. Anybody else?

I rode a SP500 for the first time last weekend, and it is much easier to steer. After riding Hondas for 6 months, I almost felt it had too mushy steering. It is just different and should take gettin used to.

I owned a 1999 SP500 and now a Rubicon. To me the Rubicon steers easier than the SP. As a matter of fact my wife mentioned this to me first. I have since put 26" Mud Bugs on the Rubicon. It steers very easy with these tires. It steers easier and sharper with these tires than with stock tires.
