I have just purchased a 03 Prairie, it has about 85 miles on it and I love it. I hear a strange squeek just before I come to a stop (1 MPH), it sounds like it is coming from the front clutch pulley area, is this normal and should I worry about it?

 

Mine do the same especially in cold climate ,
I've been told is the KEBC bearing , please someone correct me if I'm wrong..

Also, with your quad not running push down on the front racks rapidly 2-3 times to see if its the same sound. Prairies are known for having squeeky A-Arm bushing[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]

Mine noise was the shocks, I shot some WD-40 up under the cover and it stopped

 

at 1 mph is not a shock or a joint IMO ,check your actuator if the squeal is a weird one like mine, in fact mine happen when the KEBC engage or disengage.

It sounds like it is coming from the KBEC, its not when I jam the brakes on its when I just slowly roll to a stop
