I am looking for a 2wd Rancher or 300 TRX. It seams that most of the reanchers are ES and that is not what I want. I figure that a manual will be a little more sporty than the slower responding ES. I am having a hard time finding a 2wd that isn't a sport quad, or a Recon.

 

All things are possible, what you are asking isn't feasible. For all practical purposes, an ES is stuck that way for life. It would be vastly difficult and more expensive than just buying a new one with manual shift.

 

i think they have a backup shifter in case your battery goes dead or some thing happens and you can't shift with the buttons i am not sure though you will have to check.
