Has anyone added a tether style kill switch to a 2000-2003 TB250? My daughter will be moving up to one of these this spring, and I would like to add one to one of our quads. I am looking for recommendations on brands and types, ( handle bar mounts or ?). Also any tips on wiring one in, I hear they don't come with the best of directions. Thanks in advance.

 

prodesign makes a good tether, there are others. ones i would stay away from are the ones with the cap that pushes on over the end and has a pin sticking up in the middle (like on the youth models). ive seen too many shorted ones. easy to wire up. on the pro design one wire to ground and then splice the other end to the black wire going to the cdi box. and you're done.[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]
