Took some time today and removed our deactived Oil Pump from our Pred-90. Before I reassemble, what grease (if any) should be re-applied behind the stator / right crank bearing area?

If this small crank bearing area needs to be re-packed with grease, what type of grease, and to what level? Re: 1/4 level, 1/2 full, etc.

I think that grease was there to lubricate the oil pump gear, not sure though. If I remember right I wiped it clean on ours when I was in there.

I checked the E-Ton & Kolpin Service manuals and each of them showed "clean pictures". And I didn't see any mention of adding grease / oil to the bearing or the oil pump gear. Very weird. I think it's left over grease from the factory oil pump gear lubrication as well...

Task all done. It's back together again. Only thing to do is wait for our air filter to dry then, "fire her up!!!".
