Default Extra lights on Grizzly?

Hello!

Does anybody know(for sure) if i can put two extra headlights(55w) on my Grizzly 600 -98? Does the generator make enough power to do that or will it drain the battery?

I dont have the rating on a 600 grizz, but Id be surprised if the output of the stator is over 200 watts. Remember, that stators are rated at the max output, which is around 4000rpm, so definetly at idle it wont pull all 4 headlights at once, taillight, and ignition.
If you excede the wattage of the system, the voltage will drop, (lights dim),until the volts x amps, becomes equal to the output of the stator. This could be less than 12.3 volts...in which case the battery wont be charging, but will be discharging.

hondabuster, I was thinkin about getting those strobe LED's that are advertised on the banners. I wanted to put six all together on the Grizz. Do you think that would work?

You can add as many LED lights as your wallet will allow. Seriously, you could have a thousand of them, and the battery wouldnt care. They use very little current.
They are great for being seen, especially at night, but they dont produce enough light for you to see much. They are great for parking along the trail, and just leave them on, with the motor off. Nobodys gonna say they couldnt see you. It provides enough light, that you could fix a flat, or change a spark plug on another quad, but they arent driving lights.
I have
these
and they are so brite, you cant look directly into them, plus they have a wide dispersion...most LEDs have a very narrow band of light, but these have a wide field of view. They even work great in the day...people can see you coming from along way away.
