did I hear this right

I just heard on the radio that the fst switchback, which has their four stroke turbo charged engine in it, pushes out 135 ponies.
If so, imagine a few sportsmans or even a few scramblers with that in it. it's already the same engine thats in the sportsman 800's right? Maybe the turbo could be retrofitted

C'mon Stryder...You are from A snow state. you must not be a Sled head in the winter. May have some ponies but the horse power curve still isnt up to par with the 2- strokers.
I've rode the Yammi and it is a sweet sled and it has the 1000 Crotch rocket engine in it I think but that puppy doesnt even come close to my 1997 Cat 600 triple and it has maybe 110 horse.
I do have 2 85 - 90 horse 500 Polaris twins that it can beat.
Its gotta be a 10000 dollar plus sled and for cheaper than that you can get the 900 Polaris sled that will rock all worlds but without gas mileage of the TURBO.......BUT that TURBO set-up in the sled is pretty cool and aint no slouch I bet and the cold air of winter wont roast your FELLAS like it would in the summer on a quad with that beast between your legs

I AGREE Thats why I own CAT and Polaris sleds (want a Ski do also) Polaris scrambler.Kawasaki street 2 stroker, older Honda 450 DOHC, suzuki 125rms and even an 1975 EVINRUDE 440 OPPOSED two cylinder 2-stroke sled....come to think of it ....that Beauty Houghton lake Warrior would go nice with the stable if I could afford something else....LMAO
I live in Kalkaska STRYDER......Ride ON!

we've got a family cabin out near houghton lake, well actually it's off military road a few miles from grayling. I've got an old sled that stays up their. I can barely afford my pred let alone a snowmobile. I used to be big into snowmobiles. but except for the last two years the snow accumulation has been a little on the shy side.
also, I was just thinking that engine in a scrambler would tear things up pretty well.
a real v-force killer. Same engine size.

Anyway, styder I'm familiar with Miltitary road...I'm sure youve rode the Higgins lake trail..and probably cursed it out many times.
I found out from a friend of mine that it used to be a dirtbike only trail and the guy that "maintains" it lives in Lansing and doesnt even own a quad..dirtbike only..so you know where his head is!

My cousin and some friends went down to those trails on a ride where I was unable to attend. He bent up his rims pretty good and wasn't too happy about it. I remember when they were just bike trails. You'd think if it was labeled for quads then they'd widen it a little.
