My engine builder feels WSM pistons are better then Wisco? which should I get.

So I dropped my jug and head off at my local engine shop today. $50 to punch the cylinder and $30 to deck the head.
I want to run pump gas and just for confirmation I can remove 0.020 off the head and run pump gas is this correct? from the searching I did this looks to be 12 to 1 compression. I have 93 in my area.
The other interesting thing is he has a built banshee running WSM cast pistons and feels they are better. He runs his with tons of compression and its a 100+ hp machine and he says the WSM is better becuase it is a harder composion, and doesn't wear as much.
I always hear people talking about the Wisco's whihc he can get but he is recomending the WSM as a longer lasting unit and doesn't feel I would have any problems if I wanted to run alcohol or a race pipe. He has also modded polaris motors in the past.
let me know.

well I need to let him know in the morning so he can get started. the wisco is more. about $30 and my gut tells me I want to go with a wisco, he just has me thinking the WSM is better.
dicesions decisions, he did say the wisco's wear quicker and showed me examples of each piston.

i've used both without any problems, but prefer the wiseco over wsm for performance, mainly becuase they are forged and are a little lighter in weight. as far as wear, the pistons he can show you mean nothing. they are probably from different customers that ran and maintained the machines differently. i cold seized my wiseco last spring, caught it right before total sieze up by choking it. ran that wiseco all yr and just now took the motor down. honed about .001 out and put another .040 wiseco right back in.
