My pred is pretty much stock aside from a pipe n filter. I have an asphalt drag strip right near my cabin, people run cars, trucks, bikes, sleds, you name it. So i am thinking about building my pred for doin the 1/4. I dont wanna go crazy, as i would still like to go back to riding in the dirt and such after.

So any ideas on some things I could invest in that will benefit me on the trck. As well anyone have any time predictions.

 

for a 1/4 mile?? wow...you are dragin at the wrong track for quads...mosy drags are done on 1/8 mile....becuase you will be bouncing off your rev limiter on the quarter

 

Well i'm sure something can be done to change that, possibly a new cdi, different gearing, tire sizes, other mods,

also put a STRONG clutch in it. asphalt will kill a lesser clutch

my pred was built for drag racing ....now i'm in the process to make it onto a xc racer/drag racer....this should be a ton of fun!!

 

Hey Dan, get some video up if you can.....of some Draging. I'm planing on doing the same thing, the Drag races have started here.....but i'm not ready yet, I hope my swingarm will be here by the weekend. I bought one from Extreme Atv Racing. I will up date my pictures as soon as I get it one. I should have my HMF by the weekend also.
