Being that this is a quad forumn and not a car forumn, I'm pretty sure I know what most of the responses to this question are going to be but here we go anyway. I have a chance to get a 1998 WS6 Trans Am if I sell my 250R. I have wanted one of these cars ever since I was 16. But then again,I have had my R for about 5 years now and have a lot of blood, sweat and tears in it. Any suggestions?

 

if it was me i would go for the WS6 they are sweet

 

OK, I don't know how old you are, but here are a few things to consider................Insurance on that Trans Am $$$$$$..........Gas prices. You know your not gonna drive that thing like grandma, it's a Trans AM and the pedal will probably be on the floor often..................Which leads to my next point, tickets and fines. I'm 34 and my running days over (thank god)(i'm still alive). A Trans Am would have been very attractive to me at 16 or maybe even 25. But, at my age and lifestyle the quad would be much more enjoyable and cheaper.

I agree w/ coyote. Insurance on those things are crazy! The only thing you could do is probably get liability.. and that is not good espescially with a hot car. Keep the 250 and look for a new truck or something to haul that 250 in and show it off![img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]

 

I have to agree with the last 2. If you didn't have any transportation then maybe, but keep the R. Many people sold them to buy the new 450's only wishing to have kept them. They have gone back up in price and will stay that way.

 

Thanks for your input. The thing making me hold off on selling the R is the fact that I already have a 1987 SS Monte Carlo. But it's in mint condition and I feel bad driving it everyday (I've got a Ranger to haul the R in). Your opinions mean something though...thanks!

 

sell the ranger and monte carlo.. then get a pimp hauler like mine... lol
