Default Kazuma mini falcon 90 help please

I got this quad that was serviced when we bought it and it's done great so far. Problem is, NO info available that I can find.

Tonight I went to change the oil, and pulled the wrong plug that has the spring in it under the cvt trans. Not much drained out, but enough to make me wonder, HOW MUCH OF WHAT OIL FOR CVT???

I went ahead and drained oil and refilled it with Lucas 20/50, but the trans has me worried. Please help me out folks.

Thanks in advance from dad and son

I'm now seeing where maybe the "cvt" (that is really just a single speed) might share engine oil? Is the access screw cap on top of the trans case not for filling purposes possibly? We are going riding Friday and I don't want to tear anything up! Any help is appreciated

A picture would help but I assume you have a clone of a horizontal Honda engine and accidentally removed the cam chain tensioner plunger cap. That's no problem, just put it back in. 15/40 oil is usually what is recommended, just be sure to use motorcycle spec oil or the centrifugal clutch could slip. The screw cap on top of the transmission should have a dip stick attached. Proper way to measure the level is to put it in but not screw it down. The oil lubes both the engine and transmission.

Your email spam filter will not let me send you an email. Anyway I looked up some pics of the Kazuma Mini Falcon 90 and it is indeed a horizontal Honda clone engine. Should hold a bit less than a quart of oil, use motorcycle oil, 10/40, 15/40 recommended but it you live in a hot area 20/50 is OK too. There is no separate transmission oil. Check it with the dip stick setting on the threads but not screwed in. The plug with the spring inside is the cam chain tensioner as I said previously.
