Thanks, Nice bike by the way. I just updated my page with new pics of my new 88lt250 prodject, you should check them out. can your bike with all that work run with the honda 250r's or are we just out of luck with that?

stock for stock there wasnt much of a difference between them besides the honda's better suspension setup.Every trx ive ridden with has been pretty much the same (powerwise),one of my buddy's has a 89 and one of them has a 86 with the usaul reeds, pipe, filter, nothing major and when my lt was stock( 91) with a pipe and reeds filter( same type setup as the trx's) none of us could really leave each other on straight up drags down a street,or in the dirt.I would have to say it comes down to rider. If you get a national kit or any other kit from either of those two duncan or trinity, there's not gonna be any stock trx's gettin up on you.Only trx's with just as much work into them. This has been my experience and ive owned both.Nice quads good to see some getting hooked up like they deserve too.peace

All I can offer is merely my OPINION.... and like the saying goes "We all have one"
I wouldn't let Trinity work on my son's tricycle!!!
Pathetic customer service! and not much better quality of craftmanship!
They don't stand behind their work, and are rude when even approached in the kindest/professional fashion.
Just my $.02 worth... there's folks out there that love them...
My last dealing with them was horrible, and I reminded Mr. Harry that I would help spread the word about the great service I received from his company... Afterall, the best advertisement is word of mouth right?
More detail? After spending nearly $2K with them, my motor came back with bolts missing and/or not torqued/tightened, and waterpump leaking just as when I sent it to them... I was charged for new parts... hmm, same problems???
I also asked for my old parts to be returned to me, which obviously were not...
Then was told "It's your problem" "deal with it!"
Buyer beware!!!

Damn... thats foul. I havent dealt with them personaly my work was done by ct, spend all that dough and get treated like that.Youre right the best advertisement is word of mouth and with the atv community the way it is,if you treat someone like crap, in the long run it will cost you alot of lost customers. later

duneaddict I totaly agree with you! I like Harry as he hooked me up more then a few times during my racing career. And MY Bike ripped hard against anyone that came up against it on the TT track and short track. ESR370 or 390 even though I was still a 265.I guess mine actally put the perfect amount of power to the ground instead of wheeling all the time and fryin the tires when you need to be hookin up! Must of been the rider cause I smoked them!and they were pissed and never talked to me just packed up and left. If I loose I still go say good race . well back to Trinity sure they have not best customer service as they keep higring and firing over there seems like I talk to new person each time I call. Every shop has up and downs. Harry is a good guy,is he the one that told you to bad? Dont sound like Harry? Maybe I just been lucky with them? Im going to try FTZ now instead ,give someone else a try. looking for one of those pipes!

I'm glad to hear at least one good Trinity story Kdog...
My experience was with Harry himself, after discussions with more than one of his 'flunkys' ...
Now that we are a few years down the road from my rotton tale, it's actually been a great thing. It's forced me into learning how to do all my own motor work. I refuse to let ANYONE even touch my stuff now... Kind of amazing how much more power is there for the taking, that the "puppy" shops don't find for you. Now that I know what I'm doing... I look at some of the 'wizardry' they offer, and laugh!!!
I like the term 'puppy' shop, all you get is a good screwing, without any satisfaction other than a nice wet spot on your leg.
Another nice phrase I've come up with after dealing with Harry... "Don't pee on my leg and tell me it's raining!"
I still try not to miss an opportunity to help a fellow atv'er avoid getting the dry humping
