Trailblazer suspension

Yea, tell him to bulk up & put on some muscle to weigh it down a little. Just kiddin'. Have you researched for a softer sping or a dual rate spring. A dual rate would ride soft & smooth, but still resist bottoming on hard hits.

Depending on the year you could get a scrambler rear fox shock
2002 and prior trailblazer machines can use a fox shock from a 99 and prior scrambler/sport.
this is a grand improvement over the factory trailblazer unit. I did it to our 2001 trailblazer.
2002-up already has the long travel suspension, but to my knowledge the 250 never came with the Fox shock.
You could get a fox shock for 2003-up trailblazer 250 off any Scrambler after Model Year 2000.
If you don't have a long travel modle, you can convert it by changing out the swing arm.
The long travel swing arm mounts the shock farther back for clearance reasons. A long travel shock will not just bolt on with out swaping swing arms also. I did this swap on my 1999 scrambler.
The long travel units are by far the most cushieeeee Factory units. Mostly due to the fact of the duel rate springs.
