I would say 63-68 mph. I have a buddy with 500 HO. Maybe more like 65mph.

With only the K&N filter I was clocked at 72 on a straight stretch of road. It was probably about 3/4 mile stretch to get that speed, I have an HPD clutch kit coming which should gain me better low end but the secondary spring is set so I won't loose much top end (I hope).

Ridinghard,

By clocked do you mean with a radar gun? I've never heard of anyone hitting 72 on a stock Scrambler. Don't get me wrong, that's bada** if you did, but I'm just a little skeptical.

It was a state police radar. While I was riding in front of him down the road.

No, he was a friend. Kind of pissed when he got out though. He didn't think I'd go that fast. I told him I wanted to see how fast I was going so when i had to travel on that road I wouldn't go too fast. I think he thought I'd stay plus or minus 40 and stop to see how fast I was, he didn't think he'd have to chace me down the road to clock me. Problem is as I do more to it I doubt he'll agree again. I do have a friend with one he uses for snowmobile radar runs that is probably pretty accurate.

Thats one bad Scrambler, I think stock the Predator will top out about 74....maybe 75, and my pred is wicked! I had a tricked out 400 Scrambler and it maybe would do 72.
