Default k+n for trailblazer

Bought a K+N air filter for the trailblazer and wondering since I won't be using that foam cover off my stock air filter would I need a outerwears cover? Also do you think I will need to rejet, the plug already looks really black? Thanks

use the outerwears if you are riding in really dusty conitions, will help between filter cleanings. with just a filter you won't need to rejet. not that big of a difference in air flow.
