Shifter advice on a scrambler

Default Shifter advice on a scrambler

I just put a new engine and pipe on my scrambler and the shift linkage wont fit where it normally does. So i have to figure out a way to have some kind of shifter right from the tranny. Any body had to do the same thing? Any advice? Thank you

Default Shifter advice on a scrambler

Where is the rod hitting? I had mine on the wrong way at the tranny and it wouldnt fit right.

Its not really the pipe thats in the way its the hoses and stuff that come off the engine

Would it help to turn the bellcranck to the other side(point it the othe direction)?
