Well many of you have read my troublesome thread, Yesterday the yami dealer near me came across a 03 baja. It is supposed to be brand new. Looks like it has never been set on. He is asking 5200 for it. My 2000 has only about 25 - 40 hours on it. Still looks new no damage other than one boot scuff on the rear fender. He is interested in a trade, and wants to me to bring mine in, I told him about the possible carb problem, and that i have a new take off on the way, said that was not an issue., What are some of your views as far as a good trade. I love mine but the baja has nefs bigger bumper and tach and lights, Do you think I should trade or just addd this to mine? Thanks John

 

Wait and see what he offers you on the trade. The dealers in vegas are all lying a-holes, so a deal like that would never work here. I think 5200.00 for an 03 baja is to much, IMO.

Tell him 5200 is too much.Tell him you'll trade plus
give him 1000 bucks and see what he says and go
from there.You cant let these guys screw you stand
your ground act like its A alright quad but not for
5200 you'll see them start figuring #'s out on paper.
At one dealer they told me 7600 for A 05 viper red
ds I told them that was to high and went else were
same dealer but different town and got it for 5976

If it is brand new i would offer him 4500 out the door. if you trade your bike in they will probaly only give 2500 if your lucky. i went to buy a f250 diesel with the turbo for 42000, they had the nerve to offer me 8000 for my 2000 f150 with only 40000 miles. you might be better off selling to an individual. good luck
