neutral light stays on

Default neutral light stays on

400ex...neutral light stays on...im thiinking its a connection problem...let me rephrase that...im hoping its a connection problem...any hints on where to start...thanks in advance!

Default neutral light stays on

There is two green wires in the wiring for the key and neutral light, they might be crossed wihch would make your light stay on. Try push starting your quad with the key off if it starts thats your problem.

cool...thanks...i did have all that apart when i did the valve cover gasket...

I have the same problem on my 2004 foreman400 auto. It usually happens when I don't let it warm up enough. I am taking it in today for a recall to replace the ECM. They are going to look at the neutral light as well. It actually started last summer when I submersed it a couple of times.

hmm... i stay so busy at work i havent been to my shop to fix...im going to try and sneak away before this weekend and fix it...ill let you know my findings...
