Outlander max xt RESTRICTED ???
#1
Hi people
i have an oultlander max xt ( road legal european model )
having removed the screw from the throttle slide casing that was restricting it to 30 mph it still doesn't seem to rev very high
the bike does 55 mph on the flat and has touched 63 downhill
does anyone know if there are any further restrictions that i can remove
i am sure there is no electrical rev limiter as they are easy to notice while riding
maybe there is a washer in the exhaust ??
any info would be greatly appreciated
p.s. anyone with a european model will know that they come in permanent 4 wheel drive with the 2 wheel drive switch disabled.
if you follow the lead from the switch to the base of the handle bars you will find a connector block that has been disconnected just reconnect it for lots of 2 wheel drive of road sliding around fun

You probably will need to start experimenting with you clutch springs.
By the way, I'm in Arizona and we can make our quads street legal. I'm thinking about putting 14" or 15" rims on my Outlander so I can put DOT approved light truck offroad tires on it.
I justy need to find some rims that have a 4/137 bolt pattern.
Where do you guys in Europe get your rims?
