350 crankcase

Default 350 crankcase

im working my 350 which i bought from a friend who ran it out of 2-stroke oil and destroyed the piston i have taken the whole thing out and romoved EVERYTHING but i cannot get the case to spread apart. i have no clue how to get it apart. i have the new piston and everything has been bored out. i have beat the hell out it and dont want to damage anything so any help or any seggestions would really help me out.

This is assuming you have the counter balance apart and all of the bolts out of the case halves. Take a propane torch and heat the cases around the bearings. this will let the cases come free from the bearings and split. If you dont have it this far down yet, quit beatin on and get the wrenches. lol

it wasnt wrenches it was a rubber mallet..lol. ok ill try that tomarrow........thanks

why do u have to split the case just curious but yeh i had to split the case on my warrior and that was a pain in my a$$ i used a couple of flat head screw drivers and finally got it apart when u do get it to split bull it apart slowly so yuo can seee were every thing sits

A friend was at the same point. With the same problem. He took it to the local dealer and they split it in 5 minutes for twelve dollars. Fast and easy, just how I like it.
