Default LTE Dual Exhaust

Is anyone familiar with LTE Dual Exhaust and how it performs? How about the Big Gun full exhaust system?

I have a full Big Gun System and love it. I have had the system for 4 years now and re-packed it once. The pipe made a hugh differeance in power and sounds great.

Default LTE Dual Exhaust

My riding partner just had to have a true dual exhaust on his '03 Baja. Well he put a LTE on his bike and we both think that it honestly ran worse. It sounded really weird, and did not pull as well as the stocker. I think that he paid damn near $700 for the thing and it was most definetely not worth it. Hope this helps

Like all exhausts, it depends on the application. If someone started with an end cap, and switched to the LTE Duals and expected the duals to have just as much low end torque, they will be very dissapointed. The two are opposite ends of the spectrum. The LTE's are HIGH FLOW top end exhaust and more importantly quiet. Its the only performance exhaust, that's also quiet. Yes it way out performs the stock exhaust. But the big HP gains are more at the top of the RPM spectrum rather than at the bottom.

I could spend forever and a day talking about application matching - But most of the information is already available in posts on this forum, as well as the manufacturers dynos and websites.

I would put the Big Gun in the middle for a good overall exhaust.
