how many miles does your polaris have
#1
I have owned 3 new polaris' in my life. 00 magnun 325, 04 sportsman 400 and currently a 04.5 sportsman 500 ho. All my friends rag me about how bad Polaris' are and how they always break down so here are my questions.
1. What year and model do you have
2. How many miles does it have
3. what kind of problems have you had.
This should be very interesting. Thanks for your input.

wifes has about 125miles, mine has I believe over 250miles
the wifes has not had any problems but I had a fuel pump go bad with 11 miles on the odo, a winch cable snap, minor rattles/squeeks, small coolant leak at the waterpump hose.

I have over 1600 miles on my 04.5 500 HO. I have had some problems early on due to a molding flaw in the crankcase but since the bottom half was replaced I have had No problems.

I have an'04 700 EFI. 67.5 hours/ 506 miles. The fuel pump went out on it with 10 miles (Polaris must have had a bad batch of pumps.), but since then all has been great. I did put a small puncture in th right rear tire's sidewall. I have to go knock on wood now. Thanks

My friends told me I would never find a polaris with over 2000 miles without it having a new engine in it. They keep telling me Polaris' won't hold up very long. I don't believe that at all.

I think years ago Polaris did in deed have their problems with the chain driven but I have to be honest, I think Polaris is just as good as any out there. They definately have the best ride....period!

I am 1/4 of the way there and will let ya know how it held up when I reach 2000. That will probably be sometime early in 2006. I don't plan on getting rid of my baby anytime soon. Keep riding.
