ex bakes

Default ex bakes

How much trouble is it to change rear brake pads on a 02 400ex..........any help would be appreciated

Not bake but Brakes.............anyway what is a good brake pad to get that don't mind a little water and mud...........is it nessasary to change out the rotor if it has a few scars on it

A few grooves are okay... you just want to make sure the rotor is not warped.

Any sintered metal pad should work for you. RockyMountainATV.com has good pads on sale for $9.99.

It not hard to change the pads. All you need is a 12mm socket wrench and a C-clamp to push the piston back into the caliper.

Be sure to back off the stupid parking brake, if you have not already removed it.

Thanks alot................I already have the brake block off............got the ez pull lever..like it alot better!!
