I started it up and it started as if the throttle was fully pulled back. I immediately had to shut it down, because it sounded like it was going got blow something up. Not for sure what I need to do here, so any help will be appreciated. Thanks

 

The throttle cable is too tight on the carb or twisted with a kink.

 

Remove the intake boot and look into the carb. Check to make sure the slide is all the way down in the carb. Make sure the throttle opens and closes w/ no sticking. Unlikely, but could be an air leak, but check what Campbelltx and I mentioned first.
