Like the MKII, the new Dingo got a guard that protects the brake disc and the rear sprocket, but there's a bar connecting the 2 guards that goes right over the hitch hole. I have a small trailer that uses a 1 7/8" ball that I'd like to use with the Dingo. Anyone know of an easy workaround? (I don't have a welder). I thought about cutting off the bar, but I think the trailer tongue would still hit the guards during turns, so the ball really needs to move up about 6", or to the rear about 6".

 

I have read the a couple people put a steel extension on it.
