Default aftermarket cam... suggestions

I'm investing in an aftermarket cam later tonight, and i'm wondering what is involved with cams.. is it necesary to get pipes?
I dont have the money for pipes at all, and need a cam because mine isnt right. --
so what i'm looking for: cam that doesnt need pipes to go along with it, and good for mainly woods riding.
suggestions please::

i would look into the xr400, stage 1, or stage 2. the stage 3 will be way overkill on an essentially stock bike. don't worry about a pipe now. you can always get that later.

the xr400 cam is the least aggressive of the bunch. it is an upgrade over stock though. if your wanting a new one, i would get it from www.servicehonda.com

are rockers neccesary with a hotcam?

how about a headpipe if you already have a slip-on?

If I were you I would go with a tourqe cam from poweroll.com or call them theyll hook you up I bought a cam from them and its a proformance cam (More for top end) and I couldn't be happier its never gave me any problems but the tourqe cam is the best cam for woods riding it will give you the quick birst of power!

Hotcams are drop in cams. No hardened rockers needed.
