Sportsman 90-Hard starting

Default Sportsman 90-Hard starting

2001 Sportsman 90.When I first try to start it it will run for a few seconds and die,hit the starter again and it will run a little longer and die,start it again and will run longer yet,finally after about 15 trys it will run on its own.Choke problem?Thanks!

Ist off Change your plug to a 6HS from a 7hs thios will help and also drain fuel out of carb could be stuff in it
My boys bike did the same thing and this worked Let me Know

Default Sportsman 90-Hard starting

Thanks for the info.Went and got a 6HS and put it in and drained the carb.Runs much better and starts easier.The engine even seems like it runs smoother,no hesitations.Thank sagain!
