Honda engine froze up!!
#1
Hello first off i would like to say i am not a honda guy i am a yamaha guy but my friend is tottaly honda and he sucks at computers. So that explains my name. OK well he put his oil filter in backwords on his 02 honda rancher350 2 wheel drive. Now his engine just barleyturns on a full battery even ju8mping it to a truck makes a drag on truck battery!! He needs to get back on trails casue not that fun with only 2 ppl we need more!!! So if you have any idea if it is only bottom end top end or both and how hard you think it would be and money wise to fix... Thanks

A Honda froze up! Your lyeing! Just kiddin
Well hopefully it was just the top end that got fried, it won't be to terribly expensive to fix but your still looking at a couple hundred bucks. Maybe a lot more if the dealer does it.
But it is possible the bottem ed could of got damage, but I doubt it.
Good luck!

Your title implies that something was wrong with the engine, and I sense that you enjoy doing a little Honda bashing! In fact, it was YOUR FRIENDS BRAIN THAT FROZE UP, not his engine. Just take your pathetic Beartracker and head back to the Yamaha forum!

EASY recon......eaaasssssyyy now
I don't know if he is trying to bash or not, probably is a bit, but it is the operator's fault 100%. The oil filters HAVE to go in the right way.
