According to Chickenman's dealer, you folks were telling lies. There is no 700! His dealer went to Reno and saw nothing. What do you have to say for yourselves?

thers is a sp700, its just not out yet. there are just to many people that have been told by dealers and polaris empolyees that ther will be a sp700. even a guy touring the plant saw the line where they make the engines. i would expect the sp700 to be out before the kawie650 hits the dealers. polaris will not allow kawie or another company take market share, buy building a larger machine. just wait and u will see

later

geez...been a while since i've been called a liar...oh well...all i've said in my previous post is that i've seen the 700sp when it was around this area for a photo shoot...why they were taking picture of it i don't know and never claimed to know....i also never said you would see it at the show in reno, so i am not surpised that it wasn't there. i would be surprised that if in certian circles that there was no talk about it at all but it actually being there no big surprise to me...i'm sure the one i saw was a prototype and at that time there was a lot of bugs they were working on esp. with clutching and gearing....be patient it may be some time before we actually start seeing and hearing more about it. perhaps later this fall we may be hearing more about it. sorry if i got your hopes up that certainly was not my intentions.

goat it's easy to grab on to something you want and blow it out of perportion.I think we all just have our hopes so high that it was a real let down that they weren't at the show.I just can't see them not coming out with something bigger and badder than the 500 especially with the game getting so tough. If ya don't get on the band wagon you'l be sitting at home on the porch by yourself.I just don't see POLARIS letting that happen they are very aggresive company,as has been proven in the past and don't seem afraid of trying something new.At least that makes me feel better sure was let down though, although I guess in the back of my mind I really knew better.I just put the cash back in the sock and am crossing my fingers!!!!!CM

I'm going to believe in it. Highlifter told me that the engine was already built. They also told me a minute later that the new kawasaki was going to be a Prairie 650. I hadn't heard any rumors about WHAT the new kawasaki was, only that they would maybe make one. The next day, the 650 was introduced. Highlifter had the inside track on that one. They may have it on a new polaris as well.

You can believe what you want. Just because the 700 didn't make the Reno show , you think there isn't a SP700? I do not control release dates for ATV's!! That doesn't make me a liar.. I could care less about what you think about me though. It takes time to create, test, and manufacture a new product. If you don't like my posts then ignore them. PS: no need to apologize once it does get released. Ride'em hard Polcat

I heard today at one of my polaris shops. there is a 700 vtwin engine but it is going on polarises
ranger as it is a big heavy machine and needs more horse power. if they are doing that then I think there will not be a sp700, at least right now. He said he was not positive, but he was led to believe that this is the situation. He also did not know when it would be out on the market.

It is true. I know the compnay who is going to be making some engine components. I have seen pre-production castings, and they are investing 250K in new machinery to run these parts.

Hope this swells the rumors.
