Default SP 800 Accessories

I need some help finding online stores that sell accessories for the 800. My dealer had a book with everything under the sun for the 800, but no luck locating anything like that online. I'm mainly looking for skid plates and A-arm protection as the terrain here mostly consists of thickets and small tress. I found what looks like a deal on the front and rear bumpers on ebay but am unsure about the quality.

Also, any ideas/hints on how to give the exhaust a more aggressive tone? I know there's not much in the way of aftermarket stuff out there, but if anyone knows about any home mods or recent aftermarket stuff, help is appreciated.

One last thing... online service manual out there anywhere?

Thanks for any input.

I was going to respond to your other post, but that's getting a little messy. Go here for some good info on springs. I think I'm going to try the EPI springs as the weight of my brush guard and winch make it somewhat easy to bottom out. As for as accessories go, check out the Polaris website for Pure Polaris accessories. Then go here for pricing. These folks have great prices and are prompt and reliable. Cheaper than my local dealer and much better service. They can order you a Polaris service manual for your machine too. Drop them an e-mail for the part number.

EFI jet kit? as far as i was conserned, EFI models used Injectors, the only thing that you would even remotely think a jet for would be the throttle body, and all that does is tell the Injectors the ammount of throttle

You have my attention. I hope the true dual exhaust actually does something besides sound better. Intake mods, clutch kits. Thats what I'm talking about. Lets see the goods.

Imperium,
after pondering it for a few weeks, i finally gave in and bought the Polaris wrinkle-finish front brush guard and the w/f double-tube rear bumper. i think they look great. only drawback i can see is that it adds weight to an already heavy ATV. of well.

i'm thinking about the real dual exhaust offered by Hot Seat. but i think i'll wait untill a few guys have tried them-out first before i drop $500+ for just an exhaust. a performance review would be nice.

good luck and enjoy your 800!

Thanks for your help, guys. I sent an email to Hot Seat Performance inquiring about the exhaust, intake, filter, and some other items. The site does not have much/any information on the mods listed in the posts above, so I'm hoping someone calls me with some more information on them. I am having trouble finding skid plates and A-arm protection, though. My dealer can get it, but it's way overpriced.

If they have the true dual exhaust available, I plan on getting it and will let you know the results. In the mean time, the search continues for the skids and a-arm protection.

Thanks again for all your help.

Have you had any luck locating a full skid plate for the 800? How much was it from your dealer? Have you done a search with any of the discounters?
Many Thanks,
Joe

Looking for a part number. It is not on the Polaris site. I called the guy you purchased yours from and he said he had sold the other one he had. Felt awkward asking for the part number.
