Anybody been on the Dead horse run trail in northern Wisconsin? It is supposed to be pretty challenging on a 4x4 but can also be done on a 2wd! It'll be my first "organized ride". Just wondering what some experienced riders have to say!

Never been on it, but plan to this year. When are you going? I usually ride in Iron county between Mercer and Hurley. I'd love to go with a group that knows the trails.

Starting on friday May 20th. If you follow me you'll be the other lost guy. This is the first time the group will be with is riding here, they are experienced and usually do Black River Falls, and Park Falls.

Can't do it that weekend We will be moving into our new house that weekend. Be sure to let us all know how it went! I will be up in Iron county on memorial day weekend for their annual ATV rally though. If you've never been ther go to www.hurleywi.com for details. I never miss the spring or summer Rallys up there!

I am planning on going up for our first trip there on may 6-8th. Some of our guys have been there and say you can tip toe around most of the bad stuff with a 2 wheel drive machine. We will also be in Hurly for the spring poker run. We should start another thread closer to the ride and meet to put some faces with names.

Bigdog, make sure you write a thread when you get back, title it dead horse again or something similar so I catch it. Hunting is going to take up a bunch of cash, wheeling will be setback except for local stuff. Maybe we will meet , who knows sounds like a great bunch assembled in the forums.

Bigdog, have you done the spring poker run in hurley before? Would be neat to meet up with others from here, It is always a lot more
fun with a bigger group of wheelers! The more the marrier I say! Besides, I'd love to see that 800 of tours...with the 28" tires and etc, I'll bet it looks like a monster!

The spring run is one of the best rides of the year. This year we have 15 people going. 14 polaris and 1 susuki. He hasn't seen the light yet. my wife and i will be up there on thursday about noon.We are staying at the Days Inn. Our group should be easy to pick out, a couple guys will have flags on there wheelers. Hope to see ya there. I will mail back after our may 6th ride.
