Default shocks on my 400ex.. shake?

..i can now move my front shocks back and forth a little bit..with soem free play - does this mean i need new bearings.. or are they bushings? I can hear a 'clunking' noise when i land a jump or a weelie.. not loud loud, but loud enough where i can hear it.. or if i hit a bump fairly hard you can hear it clink and clunk... also if i lift hte front end off the ground with the motor shut off, and just drop it, i can hear it... so i tried movin the front shocks back and forth, and i can about an 1/8 of an inch. i dont nkow if thats suppose to be there or not but... please help.

also how m uch does this cost to fix? aprox?

did you check to see if the bolts are loseż? If you did and they are tight then check to see if the bushings llook worn out if they are go to your local atv parts dealer and ask if they are replaceable if they are try that it should work.

It could be your upper shock bearing and sleeve. You can buy these parts.

It could also be your a-arm bushings. Check those for movement.
