By the way I spoke with honda and my dealer and the recall has to do with the boots on the
tie rods in the steering mechanism. So if you're concerned give the a visual inspection.
I hope this is helpful.

Is there any way this post can be placed at the top of the board and stay there for at least a month? I had no idea about any recall and as of today have not received any notification from Honda or my local dealership. I called Honda and they told me the replacement parts have not been mailed and that my local dealership would be in contact with me when they arrived. How serious is this recall? I was told not to ride my bike until I get my parts in from the Honda hotline. When I called the dealership they didn't seem to be too alarmed nor did they tell me I should not ride. In fact I was the one who alerted them to the recall. If this is a serious concern I think more of an effort needs to be made to let people who own the ATV's under recall aware of the situation (which is why I think this post should stay at the top of the board for some time)

I received my recall notice in the mail today. It says that they will send me another notice when the replacements parts have been sent to the dealers. It reccomends not riding your atv until the parts have been replaced but I think that is standard language for recalls.
